At Yes Equipment & Services, Inc. there is a familiar saying, “If you drive it, sit on it, walk on it, wear it, live it, or eat it, it’s probably been handled by a lift truck.” The company, located in Meomonee Falls, Madison and Milwaukee, Wisconsin supplies and services new and used lift trucks, as well as personnel carriers, aerial work platforms, material handling equipment for industries that typically use them to lift and move items throughout a warehouse. In 2008, YES entered the construction equipment market and now has multiple lines to offer our customers.
CEO Cliff Anglewicz has been in the forklift & lift truck business for 50 years. In 1990, he purchased the local Yale dealership, which was originally founded in 1956 as the Hugh Ayers Company. Cliff moved the company to its current 52,000 square-foot facility in Menomonee Falls, WI in 1993. Before purchasing the Yale dealership, Cliff served six years as president of Volvo Automotive Systems in Detroit, and prior to that as a sales manager at a Caterpillar lift truck dealer.
In 2009, YES moved their construction equipment business into their first Milwaukee location and quickly outgrew the building, which then led to a move to the current Milwaukee location in 2011. In 2014, YES constructed their Madison location to continue to service the market with local resources.
YES is proud to offer Hyundai Construction Equipment, JCB Construction & Agricultural Equipment, Vermeer Forage Equipment, and most recently, Kubota Construction Equipment (in Madison location only).
“The largest customers come to us and stay with us because our focus is service,” Cliff says. “We understand that their equipment has to work all the time because down time and lost productivity are extremely expensive.”
A key element of effective service and an efficient workforce is providing the necessary tools to do the job, technology and NO VOICEMAIL – that is our guiding principle, answering the phone the first time handles the customers’ needs quickly and gets them back to what they need to accomplish. Our employees are also able to resolve conflict on the fly and make decisions confidently for our business and our customers. Someone calls you because they need something, the YES Team answers that call!
“We believe that when we retrain employees, we retain customers,” Cliff says. Not only do we build more effective, lasting relationships, but customers like to see that we are investing in our people and new equipment to remain efficient.”
